Corporation name: Japacanim Ecoturismo Ltda. 

Address: Rodovia BR 267, km 518, Zona Rural, 79240-000 - Jardim, Mato Grosso do Sul 

Location: 36 km from the city of Jardim / MS and 50 km from Bonito / MS 

Access from Bonito: through highway MS 178 or BR 267 Km 518. There are maps at the tourism agencies of Bonito.

Registration in the Ministry of Tourism: 12.002133.75.0001-0

Hours: daily from 7:30 to 17:30. 

Note: 
- The tours have a limit of visitors per day and scheduled hours. It's necessary to make reservations ahead at a tourism agency (see Where to buy section). 
- Transport to the attraction is not included, and can also be arranged with the tour agency. 
- The ranch offers restaurant, bar and a souvenir shop with handmade products. Visa, Mastercard and Amex are accepted.
- In our tours there are safety procedures and rules for minimal-environmental-impact during tourism activities, these practices will be informed by the guide during the tour;
- Sunscreens and/or mosquito repellents cannot be used in most of the tours, to avoid the springs and water contamination;
- If there are bad climate conditions, your tour may be cancelled or postponed.

Important information about Safety:
Due to Brazilian national norms, we do not have medicines in our First Aid Kits (eg antiallergics). 
• Each activity has specifical medical restrictions, please check below to see if you are able to participate in activities.
• When necessary, visitors should have and take their own medications.
• Visitors under effect of alcohol or drugs cannot participate on the tours. 
• Visitors must report health problems to the guide and tour reception before the tour for extra care and attention.
• The consumption of alcohol before the tours is forbidden.

 Click to view  Trail and Snorkeling
Description of activities involved: Interpretive trail (length 2207 meters - approximately 50 minutes) and snorkeling (length 2600 meters - about 2 hours) in groups of up to 09 people accompanied by accredited guide. No prior Snorkeling experience is necessary. 

Total duration of the tour: around 04 (four) hours. 
 
Included: typical lunch, accident insurance (valid only during the tour), mask and snorkel, neoprene boots and suit and lifejacket. 

What to bring: Bring swimsuit and bath towel.

Minimum age for the snorkeling: 
08 years old, children under 12 must be accompanied by parents or guardians.
• Guardians are responsible for children obeying safety regulations. 
• If a child has to interrupt the tour and return to the main house, it is mandatory that a guardian returns with the child. 

Restrictions: During the tour it is not allowed: alcohol consumption, smoking and snacking. The use of sunscreen and insect repellent is prohibited. It is forbidden to use swimming googles for the snorkeling.

Medical restrictions:
• Women up to 20 weeks of pregnancy, must see safety procedures below.
• Women with high-risk pregnancy or after 20 weeks of pregnancy cannot participate on the tour.
• For visitors with recent surgery (up to 60 days), epilepsy, labyrinthitis, asthma, history of  anaphylaxis, the participation on the tour is not recommended.
• Visitors with heart problems such as: heart attack, cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and/or pacemaker; cannot participate on the tour. 

Safety procedures for pregnant women:
- Your tour should be scheduled preferably at the coolest hours of the day.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun.
- Do not perform the activity if you are not well fed or feeling well disposed. After the tour starts, you will be in a place where emergncy removal will be time consuming and difficult.
-  Do not perform the activity if you feel breathless.
- Go down the stairs very slowly, taking pauses to breathe.
- Pregnant women can not do apnea or breath-holding during dives.
- Try to stay hydrated during activity. Bring mineral water.
- Pay close attention to the stairs and observe irregularities in the terrain during the trail, avoid stumbling, falls and falls.
- The neoprene suit and lifejacket needs to fit well to the body and to be comfortable, it can not be tight. 

Special tour: If you did not adapt with the snorkelinq equipment or have medical restrictions, instead of going down the river you have the option of snorkeling in the main spring with our staff and afterwards doing a boat tour at Prata river, where you will meet your group and end the tour.

Date and time can be scheduled in the local tourism agencies (see section Where to buy), or if there is a vacancy in the reception desk directly at Rio da Prata.

Descripition: Horseback riding through the fields of the farm amid the cattle and the cerrado vegetation. Groups of up to 8 guests accompanied by farm staff.

Total course: 6,306 meters.

Duration: 1:30 (one hour and a half)

What to bring: long pants, closed shoes (sneakers or boots), hat or cap, camera, insect repellent, sunscreen.

Included in the price of the tour: Tour guide, horse equipped for the tour, personal accident insurance valid only during the tour.

Minimum age: 04 years (on the horse with an adult). From 07 years, the child must go alone in the horse. 
Children under 12 must be accompanied by parents or guardians.
Note: It will only be allowed to take the child in the adult horse, if the adult has previous experience in horseback riding, and the sum of the total weight is less than 100 kg.
Guardians are responsible for children obeying safety regulations. 

Medical Restrictions: 
• Pregnant woman cannot do the horseback riding. 
• For visitors with recent surgery (up to 60 days), epilepsy, labyrinthitis, asthma, history of  anaphylaxis, the participation on the tour is not recommended.
• Visitors with heart problems such as: heart attack, cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and/or pacemaker; cannot do the horseback riding.
• Maximum weight: 100 kg.

Safety Rules:
• Do not run or gallop the horse;
• Do not shout or make jokes to scare the horses;
•  Obey guide's instructions;
• The guide may not take the child on his horse;
• Mandatory use of closed shoes and long trousers during the ride;
• During the tour it is not permitted drinking alcohol and smoking;
• In case of heavy rain, which could compromise the quality and safety on the way, the tour may be canceled or interrupted.

Description: Scuba Diving in Rio da Prata, at depths of up to 7 meters. Groups of up to 4 visitors dive accompanied by guide.

Note: You do not need previous experience or diving certification.

Duration: 1 hour to 1 hour and a half.

Included in the price of the tour: Scuba instructor, neoprene suit and boots, mask, diving equipment, personal accident insurance valid only during the tour.

What to bring:  bathing suit and towel.

Minimum age: 10 years old, minors must be accompanied by parents or guardians.
• Guardians are responsible for children obeying safety regulations. If a child has to interrupt the tour and return to the main house, it is mandatory that a guardian returns with the child.

Medical Restrictions: 
• Pregnant woman cannot do the scuba diving.
• Visitors with recent surgery (up to 60 days), epilepsy, labyrinthitis, asthma, history of  anaphylaxis, heart problems such as: heart attack, cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and/or pacemaker; cannot do the scuba diving.

Day Schedule:

7:00 a.m. - Transportation in to the Private Reserve, where the trail begins to observe birds.

12:00 - Lunch at the farmhouse.

13:30 - Optional: trail and snorkeling tours for those that have already scheduled in advance or Birdwatching in the vicinity of the headquarters.

17h30 - Return to Bonito.

Note: The trail and snorkeling is optional and not included in the value of birdwatching, it also has to be scheduled with the agency.

Groups of up to 10 visitors accompanied by specialized guides.
